Caparol Paints, a global leader in the paints industry, are showcasing their new unique fire resistant and super-efficient non-combustible External Thermal Insulation Composite System (ETICS) technology. The system boasts innovation, durability and longevity. The new ETICS technology was launched at the ongoing Big 5 exhibition at the Dubai World Trade Center.
ETICS technology by Caparol Paints has been designed to save energy and improve the climate inside the buildings. It substantially reduces heating and air conditioning costs by maintaining temperatures. ETICS is a highly efficient system that ensures an improvement in energy efficiency of both old and new buildings once the technology is installed.
Caparol has been at the forefront of researching and adopting new technologies that ensure sustainability. Through research and development along with testing the technology Caparol Paints has been able to improve ETICS. The technology creates a more sustainable environment inside structures by trapping the heat outside while maintaining the cool temperatures inside.
Commenting on ETICS, Mr. Mowaffaq Balish, Commercial Director Middle East at Caparol Paints, said, “Our latest ETICS system being showcased during the Big 5 exhibition is a new, unique and improved technology that strives to benchmark sustainability as its core function. Through ETICS we hope to improve the temperature within a structure while the external façade traps the incoming heat. In the Middle East where we have more that six months of summer, ETICS creates the perfect formula to improve efficiency and sustainability.”
“We are greatly committed towards environmental issues and our products are developed to suit the weather and create a greener environment. Installing ETICS can contribute to reducing thermal transmission through a building’s exterior. At Caparol Paints, we extensively research on incorporating innovative methods to build the sustainability of structures while also maintaining the exterior beauty,” he said.
“With the temperatures soaring in the UAE, Caparol Paints has seen an advanced and growing need to involve sustainable building and coating methods while maintaining the visual appeal of a structure. Various parameters have been taken into consideration while developing the product. ETICS will have advanced energy saving results,” Balish added.
Along with ETICS, Caparol Paints has a large variety of decorative and other paints categorized under interior coatings, exterior coatings, stone coatings and floor coatings.
